Lexar Wants to Offload Local AI Models to SSD Amid the RAMpocalypse

Lexar is developing a new storage solution, the AI Storage Core SSD, to offload large language models (LLMs) to NAND Flash, reducing the need for DRAM and enabling larger and more powerful LLMs to fit into a PC build.
